Helmets acclimation for 3 days then helmet shoulder pads for 3 days then full gear! Make sure to have picked up gear July 19.

Please turn your money in for the team gear packet before this Thursday 7/12. The packets were distributed before spring practice and all summer practice to date. $104 for eight items, checks payable to KAOL memo:HS Football.

We have purchased access to a new to us online weightlifting/athletic preparedness program. You will now be able to track your progress, your team's progress, and your workouts all from your phone. This app will custom tailor the workout reps and weight to what you can do. Please be truthful and accurate in recording what you do to get the most out of this great program. I will enter you maxes for you and witness your benchmark sets to verify your hard work. You will be placed in a program level based on your experience in weightlifting at the high school. Please have downloaded the PLT4M app on your mobile device prior to arrival at workouts on June 4. Please remember weightlifting at one session per day is part of practice!
7 on 7 teams will travel to compete the following dates and places. Rides will need to be arranged on your own. Ask your team. You need to be attending practice regularly to compete.

Reminder Summer Practice Runs June 4-28 and July 1-3, 9-19 Monday-Thursday with optional weightlifting session Friday mornings at 9 AM.
Athletes should attend 1 weightlifting session and the field session each day.

Field: 5-6:30 PM
Practice is open to all current and incoming students who have registered. Please turn in completed athletic packets to the high school office.
Free sports physicals are occurring this Friday April 27 at the high school from 9AM until 1PM. Please make use of this opportunity to get your physical and sports packet complete before next year!
We will be having a football informational meeting this coming Wednesday April 4 starting at 5:30 and lasting about 30 minutes. Items being presented will include spring, summer, and fall practice schedules; team websites and stores; physicals; weightlifting; team expenses; fundraising/donations/tax credits; and volunteer opportunities. Please take this opportunity to learn how our program operates, our expectations, rules, and to ask questions after the presentation is over. The meeting will take place in Room 101 at Kingman Academy High School. Hope to see all of you there.

Spring practice time begins April 23 and runs four days a week after school until 5/17. Practice starts at the high school weight room from 4-4:45 then moves down to Southside field at 5 and ends at 6:30. Students are encouraged to bring snacks to consume before the start of practice. Workout attire includes shorts/t-shirt or sweats, tennis shoes for lifting, and cleats if possible on the field. Make sure to arrange rides as necessary.
During the 4-4:45 session students behind in class are encouraged to seek tutoring opportunities that will be available at the school.
Students without an athletic packet on file at the high school will need to complete one before participation in spring practice. They are available in the office.
